With Mautic, you can create emails

Mautic was created in 2013 in the state of North Carolina (USA) by David Hurley, an American engineer and entrepreneur who had previously developed other open source software.

In this post I would like to introduce you to this software and tell you how you can use it in your inbound marketing or online marketing campaigns . I am sure you will be able to take advantage of it!

What is Mautic?
Mautic is an  all-in-one digital tool for marketing automation . In other words, from a single platform, it allows you to manage and execute inbound marketing campaigns in an integrated manner.

The open source feature means that its users can access the source code and modify it without restrictions.

This inbound marketing tool currently has more than 2,500 clients worldwide, a fact that shows its degree of impact and penetration. There are two versions of the tool:

Mautic Free: This version offers basic functionality. It is especially useful for users who want to make their first contact with the tool. It works well for testing or for simple projects that do not have a high level of complexity.
Mautic Pro: This is a more specialized version. It offers users unlimited contacts, custom domains, and five built-in integrations. It costs around $12 per month.
What are the main features of Mautic?
To learn more about this marketing tool, I will explain the main functions it offers:

1) Lead capture
This tool allows you to capture leads through a form that you can make available to users on your company's website.

The main objective is to create a database that will become a valuable asset for sales and marketing teams.

In this sense, Mautic will help you:

Track anonymous visitors who have not yet provided information (this data remains hidden) and standard visitors who have identified themselves using the form on your page.
Modify the fields set for the form.  It offers some options, but you can change them if you want.
Create lists. Simply add the filters that include or exclude the leads you want to assign to a list. Leads can be grouped into lists with different characteristics. For example, so-called smart lists are assigned the filters "city equal to:" or "phone=" and the leads that meet the characteristics of these fields are chosen.

2) Campaigns
Using the Mautic tool, you can launch campaigns. These are coordinated actions that aim to get the contacts in your database to achieve a proposed objective .

Campaigns allow you to implement workflows . For example, you can create a workflow to generate a chain of emails that contacts who fill out a form will receive. The idea is for them to move forward in the purchasing process and become customers.

3) Emails
from the templates provided by the tool itself or from your own.

4) Forms
Mautic also allows you to create forms so you can  obtain information from users who visit your website by delivering valuable content, such as ebooks or other downloadable content.

In forms, you can add as many fields as you need.
